I wish I could remember the story of how I found Nathan Angelo. Whatever the story might be, I am so glad that I came across his music because it has become a staple in my rotation of go-to discs. Last year, I entered a little Facebook contest in which I only had to share some link or video of Nathan Angelo with my friends to be entered into a drawing to receive a free digital copy of his new album, “Follow Your Heart”. Guess who won? Yes, I did.
For those of you who have never heard Nathan Angelo, he’s got some piano-pop rock stuff going on. His voice is smooth and is drenched in emotion (including his Holiday Inn Express video – see below). There are times when I listen to artists and I wish I could sing like them; this is definitely one of those times. I subscribe to the YouTube channel, mailing list, and… I am currently trying to kick his butt in Words with Friends.
On the newer studio album, Follow Your Heart, the listener can press play on track one and keep on going. The music takes you on a journey and you will be able to rest your “skip” finger. No need to move along, maybe just the need to press repeat – repeat – repeat (a la Jessie J and David Guetta).
