The other day I was home sick from work and decided that I needed a light hearted movie to watch. That movie happened to be “We Bought a Zoo” with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson. When this movie was being advertised in the theaters, I knew that I wanted to see it, but I couldn’t [...]

Today I was talking a friend of mine and after she said she had a good day she mentioned that she was crying. So, of course I ask what was wrong… Her response: “Just watching One Tree Hill” My response: “oh” I guess we all have a different idea of movies and shows that cause [...]

Well folks, it is Oscar night and we get to see history made in some capacity. Will a French silent film sweep the Oscars 2012? Will Meryl Streep win another or will she lose the trophy to Viola Davis (The Help) or Bérénice Bejo (The Artist)? I can’t make a prediction for any of the categories [...]

Ever have those days when you flip through pages and pages and categories and titles of Netflix offerings and don’t know what to choose? Well, as a lover of gory-horror-thriller flicks, I often start there and move on. A few weeks ago, Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was recommended on my Netflix “Top 10″. At first [...]

Sorry for the lack of posts over the weekend (if anyone even noticed, ha). I went out of town for my friend’s birthday weekend in Ft. Lauderdale. I had a great time enjoying her company and the warmth of the Florida sun. I even got a little burned on Friday, but it is peeling already. [...]

Just a quick laugh for today; I love this character. Tyler Perry has put out some good movies with a nice mix of drama and comedy. Check out my favorite Madea sayings… HA.

So, I just watched another cheesy, feel good, entertaining movie. Prepare yourself for some laughter, but the movie was STEP UP 2: The STREETS. Yes, I watched it. SO. WHAT? HA. Anyway, it is usually in these movies where the main character has had a blow to their ego where they sit and reflect and [...]

Yes, I stayed up too late watching this little gem of a movie. Howard the Duck was one of my favorite movies when I was a little kid. Don’t ask me why, but it still is AMAZING! Ha!
